So maybe I don’t hang out with my cousins like how I used to. Maybe its because of the fact that their family is way different than mine. They’re still one of the few families that sit together for a meal. The kind that don’t answer their phone during dinnertime, the kind that spend Sundays together. The kind that go to church Sunday mornings, the kind that have total respect of their parents. The ones that don’t talk back. The kind that ask if they can grab something from the kitchen. The kind that have to ask to go everywhere, even though they’re old enough to make their own decisions. My family used to be that way. Up until my parents separated. So you see, it bothers me when he says stuff like, “you choose your friends over family, you didn’t want to hang out with me and your brothers today. You didn’t give them a ride home, alright, just remember, they’re FAMILY”. FIRST OFF, don’t try to give me a guilt trip over something that isn’t even worth arguing about. I DON’T hang out with my brothers. You swear like they’re the best brothers in the world. You act like they treat me with the respect that I deserve. I am their older sister, but they treat me like if I was some sort of piece of shit. I CHOOSE not to hang out with them for that reason. Yeah, I love them. Yeah I regretted saying the words I just said, but fuck why can’t you just stfu? WHY CAN’T YOU GIVE THEM A DAMN RIDE HOME? Oh wait, you DON’T drive. I had no gas in the car and my mom didn’t give me money to fill the tank. I’m SORRY that I chose to hang out with my best friend that I haven’t seen in a long time because she’s busy with SCHOOL and WORK. Because she’s the kind of friend that is steering me in the right direction. You’re a fucking retard, you don’t know anything about me or my life. MY FAMILY IS BROKEN UP INTO A MILLION PIECES.
